Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
Not required. The tool requests gender, date of birth, how you rate your health, smoking status, target coverage sum, and duration (10–30 years). Those six items produce carrier pricing. Any personal details—names, addresses, medical specifics—are only acquired if you advance to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
They represent what each company quotes for the class you selected on the tool. The company's underwriting process will ultimately confirm or adjust your tier, potentially shifting the premium. No statement here constitutes an offer or guarantee of rates.
What happens when I click Apply?
You enter your name within the application, which takes your inputs and moves to the carriers' secure platform. You have the flexibility to stop and resume later. Signing is completely electronic. Susman Insurance Agency (License 0B75129), a certified California broker, operates the application.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies by the insurance company, the protection amount, and what you reported. Some carriers with rapid qualification can approve right away for qualified applicants; every listing tells you if testing is mandatory, conditional, or unnecessary.
Is a longer term better?
Coverage should span the duration where your household would have financial difficulty from your loss: outstanding mortgage, dependent children, company debt. Going longer increases the monthly premium but locks the rate in for extra years. Comparing 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30-year options with the quote engine lets you see the cost difference clearly.
Does this site sell my information?
Negative. The rate tool collects only the information in your quote request—we do not record personal contact data, your information stays confidential, and our analytics don't use cookies or identifier tracking. Visit our privacy statement for the complete picture.
